I’m so happy you are here. I feel excited about the idea of creating beautiful images for you and your family to treasure and cherish as time passes. I hope we’ll find we are a good fit to work together.
I work in a flexible and relaxed manner, yet I’m very particular about the quality of the final product I present. I collected images with the mindset of telling stories, preserving memories and documenting the interaction between people in an inspiring and beautiful way. I direct the sessions just enough for us to keep the focus and for you to look the best but mostly I conduct our time together with great freedom, spontaneity and joy. My goal is not only to collect a beautiful set of images, but also hold space for people to express themselves and connect with love and authenticity.
After the session, I make a selection of the worth keeping images, do all necessary post processing adjustments, and present an online gallery where you can download the photos in high-resolution, share with your family and friends, as well print.
Classic Session - CAD$ 450
- 1h30min session time (approximately)
- 2 locations in proximity to each other (ex: home and a nearby park, or beach and nearby park)
- download of all digital files in high resolution - 60 to 80 pictures
- a selection of 18 prints of your choice (4x6in) presented in a beautiful package
- an online gallery (will be up for 1 year on my server) to share with family and friends

Cozy Session - CAD$ 320
- 45 minutes session time (approximately)
- 1 location (ex: home or a beach/park/facility)
- download of all digital files in high resolution - 35 pictures
- a temporary online gallery (will be up for 6 months on my server unless a new session is booked in the meantime)

Families larger than 5 members - $30 for each additional person.

Payment can be done by credit card, cheque or cash. Refundable down payment of $60 dollars is required to book your session.
Receive a 15% discount when booking 2 or more sessions at once.

All still photography remains copyright to Silmara Emde. I reserve the right to present the finished product on my website and/or social media for promoting my work. If you do not wish to have your photos displayed on our public channels, please let me know. I’ll include your email address on my mailing list and will send you seasonal newsletters - you can unsubscribe at any time. I respect your privacy. The right to print several copies and distribute the images amongst family members and friends is granted, however the images should not be used by third part in any circumstances without the full consent of Silmara Emde. For sessions done outside Vancouver, travel fees may apply.
